Hello I am an Artist/Illustrator from Austin Texas. I am relocating this Summer to Seoul with my wife who got a job teaching Art at an International school there. I was wondering if you can tell me anything about the Art scene there? As I will be wanting to try to show there. As well as am interested in murals as I paint a lot of murals here in Austin. Anyways any info you can give me at all that may help with moving there would be awesome thanks!
Hi! While i am not the best person to talk to about this. I’m actually with my friend Paula, of www.noonablog.com, who is more involved in the art scene. There is a group called “supercolorcolor” that was formed as an initiative to promote music, art, and other events from a more indie point of of view. Hongdae is definitely the area you want to check out for a growing art community.
